Learn What Each Car Is

Each page combines a plain-language overview with legal-build reminders, common platforms, spare-parts guidance, pre-race checks, and setup tools.

Class Tech Center

Sportsman

Sportsman is the primary beginner racing class at The Park Speedway. It uses the durable Traxxas Slash platform with controlled electronics and mostly stock replacement parts.

Class Tech Center

Super Stock Slash

Super Stock Slash uses the same controlled Slash foundation as Sportsman but requires a Late Model body and generally produces closer, more setup-sensitive competition.

Class Tech Center

Traxxas Modified

Traxxas Modified is a factory-built route into modified-style racing. Treat it as a controlled platform and confirm event-specific requirements before changing tires, gearing, electronics, or body components.

Class Tech Center

Street Stock

Street Stock converts a commercially available buggy into a recognizable dirt Street Stock using sealed 13.5 electronics, open buggy tires, and production-based chassis choices.

Class Tech Center

13.5 Late Model

13.5 Late Model pairs a transmission-equipped 2WD chassis with sealed Justock power and a ROAR-approved Late Model body. It rewards tire choice and disciplined setup work.

Class Tech Center

13.5 Non-Wing Sprint

Non-Wing Sprint uses sealed 13.5 electronics on a transmission-equipped 2WD chassis without a top wing. It rewards smooth steering, balanced side bite, and controlled throttle.

Class Tech Center

Mod Sprint

Mod Sprint is the open-power sprint class. Any legal motor and ESC may be used on a commercially available 1/10 production chassis, making drivetrain reliability and throttle control critical.

Class Tech Center

Short Course Modified

Short Course Modified uses short-course-sized tires and an open-wheel dirt modified body on a purpose-built or commercially manufactured platform.
